Equality Information and Objectives

Public Sector Equality Duty

At Bryn Offa CE Primary School, we are committed to providing an inclusive, supportive and welcoming environment where every child is valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

In accordance with the Public Sector Equality Duty, the school has due regard to the need to:

  • Eliminate discrimination, harassment and victimisation.
  • Advance equality of opportunity between people who share a protected characteristic and those who do not.
  • Foster good relations between people who share a protected characteristic and those who do not.

We actively promote equality and diversity through our curriculum, collective worship, policies, staff training, inclusive practices and wider school life. We regularly monitor pupil achievement, attendance, participation and wellbeing to identify and address any barriers to learning and participation.

The school publishes equality information annually and reviews its equality objectives at least every four years.

Equality Objectives 2025-2029
